A saleswoman has been jailed for going on a shopping spree with a credit card found at the airport's duty free counter.
Dubai: A saleswoman has been jailed for going on a shopping spree with a credit card found at the airport's duty free counter.
The Dubai Court of First Instance sentenced the 24-year-old saleswoman to six months in jail.
The Public Prosecution charged the accused, who worked at Dubai International Airport's duty free section, with taking the forgotten credit card and pocketing some Dh9,000 worth of purchases.
The accused confessed during questioning to using the credit card.
The primary verdict is still subject to appeal.
