Ras Al Khaimah: Inspectors of the emirate's Naturalisation and Residency Department here have arrested 10 violators of the UAE immigration laws, including a woman.

A senior officer at the department said the inspection campaigns instructed by the Ministry of Interior covered all areas of Ras Al Khaimah and have been conducted around the clock.

The officer said that the inspectors detained nine male violators and a woman, all of whom were Asian nationals who approached Ras Al Khaimah for shelter.

He added that the detainees were interrogated and referred to the emirate's other concerned authorities to take legal measures against them.
