Police: Victims affairs office to be set up in Abu Dhabi

A statement by Abu Dhabi Police on Saturday said they have been making preparations to set up an office dealing with victims affairs in the emirate.

Abu Dhabi: A statement by Abu Dhabi Police on Saturday said they have been making preparations to set up an office dealing with victims affairs in the emirate.

General Ahmad Nasser Al Raisi, Director of Central Operations of AD Police revealed that the Office will make available all necessary information to identify the missing persons in major crises and events as well as the victims of accidents.

The office will be the first of its kind in the Middle East, which will gather information about the missing and the victims and offering assistance to their families in various languages including English, Hindi and Chinese.
