Police receive explosive detection machine to enhance security

The up-to-date machine is part of the security solutions the Ministry of Interior adopts to enhance the work of security enforcement authorities.
The new machine detects and diffuses explosives and ensures total security, where the team of Arms and Explosive Unit got the necessary training on the machine.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Al Jeri, the unit's Acting Head said the Ras Al Khaimah Police is keen to own such advanced machines, which help fight crimes of various types.
He added that the UAE in general and Ras Al Khaimah in particular are booming and such high-tech machines are needed for security reasons.
