Gang of four arrested for stealing cables near Dubai-Al Ain Road
A man who was deported for stealing cables has been rearrested for the same crime, along with three other compatriots.

Dubai: A man who was deported for stealing cables has been rearrested for the same crime, along with three other compatriots.
Police arrested a gang of four people for stealing large amounts of cables from construction sites in Lesseli area.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) received a tip-off on May 19 about an Asian gang that were stealing cables from under-construction sites on Dubai-Al Ain Road near Lesseli area.
On May 20, CID officials noticed the gang members coming out of the area and stopped their vehicle.
Police found a large amount of cables of different sizes when they searched the car. The four men were arrested and they later confessed to stealing the cables.
Investigations revealed that three of the suspects had entered the country and were staying here illegally, while one suspect had been earlier deported for the same crime.
The four men were referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigations.
