Fujairah: Two Emirati youths were sentenced to six months suspended jail term for stealing a pair of sheep from a farm in Siji.

The Fujairah Appeal Court overturned an innocent verdict for Emirati youth, S.M., sentencing him to six months suspended jail term and handing him to his father.

A second Emirati youth, A.R., was also handed a suspended six months term after the Appeal Court upheld an earlier sentence by the Court of First Instances.

The pair were arrested by police after they were reported to have stolen the sheep by the son of the woman owner of the farm in Siji, Fujairah.
