Dubai: A traffic police corporal and a barber who faked an accident report for an employee who used it to swindle Dh123,000 from an insurance company faced trial on Sunday.
Records said the insurance company discovered that the accident was unfounded after they paid for the office, which rents cars, a compensation for a vehicle that was only scraped in pictures.
The Public Prosecution charged the Emirati corporal and Syrian barber with faking the accident report, which they filled with spurious information.
The Syrian office supervisor was charged with deceiving the insurance company and conning Dh123,000 by using the faked report.
