Dubai: A tourist guide has pleaded not guilty against molesting a Singaporean female tourist on a quad-bike during a safari trip, heard a court on Monday.
"I am innocent... nothing of what she maliciously accused me of happened," the 21-year-old Iranian guide told the Dubai Court of First Instance on Monday.
Records said the Singaporean woman, C.M., alleged that when she asked the suspect to teach her how to drive a quad-bike during the safari trip she felt him molesting her.
The Public Prosecution charged the suspect, H.D., with molesting the woman and breaching her privacy by touching her private body parts.
An Emirati police first corporal said the woman complained against her alleged abuser at Al Hibab police station in the jurisdiction of where the supposed molestation happened.
The suspect dismissed all her accusations and pleaded innocent when he appeared in court on Monday. A verdict will be heard soon.
