Dubai Police receive more than 10,000 emergency calls

Dubai police traffic control room has received 999 calls from more than 10,000 people this morning.

Dubai: Dubai police control room received emergency calls from more than 10,000 people on Tuesday morning.

The police has asked people not to call unless it's an emergency.

They say most of the calls made were about the weather, traffic queues and alternative routes.

Dubai police control room usually deals with about 7,000 to 8,000 calls per day.
