Police raided a gambling den in Al Riffa, Dubai, and arrested 13 Asian expatriates.

Dubai: Police raided a gambling den in Al Riffa, Dubai, and arrested 13 Asian expatriates.

Police received a tip-off and raided the gambling den run in an apartment in Riffa. On questioning, the suspects confessed to gambling. They have been referred to public prosecution.

According to the UAE law, gambling is illegal and banned in the country.
