Dubai: Police arrested three Asian suspects for stealing from a man who withdrew a large amount of money after spraying red pepper on his face.

The victim, had withdrawn Dh209,985 from an exchange house in Naif. When he arrived at a building and took the elevator, the suspects sprayed red pepper on his face so he could not identify them and fled with the bag that contained the money.

Dubai Police's Criminal Investigation Department formed a team to follow up the case.

The CID arrested three men identified as M.A., M.H. and S.M. and recovered the money they had stolen from the victim.

A police official warned the public not to carry large amounts of money from banks and exchange houses, as it is careless and tempts others to steal the money.

He also called on the public to report about people or suspects who wander around the banks without a purpose.
