Dubai: Police arrested an African man for conning and stealing money from gullible passengers.

The police received many complaints from victims who fell into the suspect's trap.

The suspect offered rides to gullible passengers on reduced charges than regular taxi fares; on way, the suspect would steal money and valuables from the passengers, said the police.

Police warned residents to be cautious and not to fall prey to such conmen.
