Cement mixer driver killed after collision with stationary trucks
Sudden swerve to right costs man his life in what police said was dangerous driving.

Dubai/Fujairah: A driver of a cement mixer was killed in a collision with four trucks on Dubai Bypass Road on Tuesday morning, police said.
Police said the Arab driver of the cement mixer identified as M.M. was driving recklessly and suddenly swerved to the right. He collided with four trucks that were parked on the side of the road. The driver was killed on the spot. Rescue teams then freed his body. Another person also sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Meanwhile, the driver of a truck, which fell into a hole, escaped the accident with injuries, police said.
Police said a truck had fell into a hole and turned over, as the driver reversed without paying attention that there was a hole. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Rashid Hospital.
Motorbike accident
In Fujairah, a Sri Lankan garage labourer is in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Fujairah Hospital after he suffered severe head injuries in a motorbike accident, on Tuesday afternoon.
Colleagues told police, the victim was attempting to test ride the bike, having just carried out maintenance tests, before he lost control and crashed.
Emergency medical teams stabilised his life threatening condition.
