Dubai: A body fished out of Dubai Creek has been identified as that of 32-year-old Vijay Naveen Baptist, who had been missing for over a week.
Naveen, an electrician who worked for Belhasa Projects, left his home in Al Quoz at around 2pm on Friday, December 7. He was on his way to a friend's house but never arrived.
Sylvestor Albuquerque, Naveen's brother, told Gulf News on Sunday said he saw no reason why his sibling would kill himself. He said: "My brother seemed happy; there didn't appear to be any obvious problem. I am waiting for the post-mortem report to find out more."
