Arrested for stabbing roomate in RAK labour camp
An Indian national stabbed his roommate with a knife in a labour camp here and fled the scene. The emirate's Police arrested the criminal while trying to collect any news about the fate of his victim.
Ras Al Khaimah: An Indian national stabbed his roommate with a knife in a labour camp here and fled the scene. The police arrested the criminal while trying to collect any news about the fate of his victim.
Major Abdullah Al Mazroe, who heads the Criminal Investigation Section at Al Maamoura Police Station, said the 21-year-old attacker, identified as Kh.Sh.D., stabbed his 20-year-old compatriot roommate, identified as Sh.A.A., with a knife following an argument and fled the scene.
The victim fell to the ground unconscious was rushed to Saqr Hospital in a critical condition.
Major Al Mazroe said during the police investigations, the suspect confessed to the crime. The knife used in the crime was also seized.
The case has been referred to the emirate's Public Prosecution for further investigations and will be later referred to the emirate's Criminal Court.
