Police arrested about 100 workers after violence broke out in a labour accommodation in Jebel Ali over wages, police sources said.
Dubai: Police arrested about 100 workers after violence broke out in a labour accommodation in Jebel Ali over wages, police sources said.
Thousands of workers went on a rampage in the camp on Tuesday damaging company property, a police officer who did not wish to be identified, said.
The workers had gone on a protest on Tuesday asking for more wages.
The protest again started late on Thursday but the situation is now under control, the police source said.
