Gulf News reader Suganya Shaji took this photograph from her apartment on Airport Road in Abu Dhabi.
She said: “I would like to bring this information to the attention of all building owners in UAE. The picture clearly shows water leaking from a tank on the roof of the building. It has gone unnoticed for the past few months, and appropriate action hasn’t been taken. Wastage of water, especially during the peak of summer, should be avoided. The concerned authorities should monitor such situations, and pay proper attention towards [conserving] this valuable, basic need.”
