We were in Greece for a holiday when our dog Sandy went missing in Dubai. She was being looked after by a woman in Al Warqaa 3 area in Dubai. Somebody broke into her house and left the door open and our dog escaped.

She was last seen on the evening of May 13 evening between gates 1 and 2 of the Al Sharooq community in Mirdif area, Dubai. She got scared by a dog and ran away on the road behind building 41. She was running in the north westerly direction towards the bushes. The guards were unable to catch her.

Our friends have put up posters in the area, but they are being taken down. Most shops won’t let us put posters up either.

She is a rescue dog from K9 friends. We have had her for just over a year. She is a very shy dog and will not hurt anybody. She is quite small; just slightly bigger than a cat. She has long legs, a big nose and big ears (pictured). She is a mix breed ‘desert dog’.

She means everything to us and we will do anything to get her back. We are offering a reward for her safe return.

Our contact number is 0556274872. We don’t care what time of day or night people contact us - we just want her back safe and sound. If you have seen her, please let us know. We are devastated!
