Kong Kong

Kong Kong was found rooming around the Jumeirah Village Triangle around two years ago by a nice woman who fed him on a regular basis. However, one day the only food source he knew moved away and the poor fellow cried and cried outside her door until he lost his voice.

Another kind woman picked up where the other had left off, feeding him every day, but as she had other cats, fights broke out causing all the cats to become stressed and become wounded. Kong Kong was then taken to the clinic to be put to sleep as there was no other option available for him. During an exam the veterinarian discovered a microchip and refused to put him to sleep, so he has remained at the clinic’s cattery since December 15, 2012. Sadly, the microchip owner’s details have not been found. The issue is no longer about the cost of keeping him in the cattery, although it is important, but the main thing is that living in a cattery cage is not a dignified way of living and his time there is unfortunately under threat. He is a very affectionate, cuddly, playful cat, but must go to a loving family who has no other cats as he does not get along with them at all. Having originally been a house cat, suddenly finding himself living on the street has had a long term devastating effect. He has been vaccinated and neutered. A quiet life in an apartment would be the best thing that could ever happen to him.

If you are willing to try and change his fate and would like to offer him a forever home, please email Friends of Animals on info@friendsofanimalsdxb.com.
