Jaywalking and run over accidents addressed
The initiative aimed to educate labourers, heavy and light vehicle drivers on road safety and the prevention of run-over accidents.
Due to the nature of their jobs which often take place on the sides of roads the lectures addressed issues regarding making use of over- and underpasses when crossing streets and correctly assessings vehicles’ speeds as they pass.
