Saudis foil wave of smuggling efforts

The seizures were made in various parts of Saudi Arabia, it said.
A spokesman for the anti-narcotics department said a total of 1,753,000 illegal pills were seized in the vast Gulf kingdom.
Other seizures included 2kg of heroin and 148kg of hashish.
