Riyadh: Saudi anti-terror forces have arrested 10 people suspected of raising and smuggling funds for "suspicious bodies", the official news agency said on Saturday.
The Saudi Press Agency quoted an Interior Ministry spokesman as saying that the suspects used the funds to "lure citizens".
The agency said that those arrested in Jeddah and Medina were nine Saudis and one foreigner.
Saudi Arabia has been battling an Al Qaida campaign to bring down the US-allied Saudi monarchy.
Many of its nationals, including Saudi-born Osama bin Laden, funded and joined Afghan fighters in a bid to drive foreign forces from Afghanistan.
