Pilgrims survive blaze in hotel near Sacred Mosque in Makkah
About 75 pilgrims of various nationalities survived a blaze in a hotel of six floors, near the Sacred Mosque on Sunday evening.
Makkah: About 75 pilgrims of various nationalities survived a blaze in a hotel of six floors, near the Sacred Mosque on Sunday evening.
Reports said that more than 15 pilgrims suffered various injuries in the accident. Some were treated at the scene, while other cases were transferred to hospital.
The Spokesman of Civil Defense in Makkah said that preliminary investigations indicate that the fire occurred in one of the rooms on the first floor, due to electrical contact in the wiring.
