Muscat: Zainab Al Labad, a four-year-old Saudi girl who was hit in the head by a stray bullet in Oman, is heading home for further medical treatment.
Zainab completed her treatment in Al Nahdha Hospital in Oman after she was injured outside a Dibba hotel off the Musandam governorate on July 25.
A stray bullet from celebratory fire at a nearby wedding hit her while she was playing with her brother.
The bullet was removed last week and she is reported to be in a stable condition.
Mohammad Al Labad, Zainab’s father, thanked the Omani government for taking care of his child.
The man who fired the weapon was arrested by the Royal Oman Police.
