Manama: The Qatar Financial Centre Civil and Commercial Court on Tuesday announced the appointments of Robert Musgrove as CEO and Chris Campbell-Holt as Assistant Registrar.

Robert Musgrove was formerly Chief Executive of the Civil Justice Council, the British Government’s principal advisory body on civil justice reform.

He has been closely involved with the civil justice system for more than 25 years, working variously in Government policy, research, and advisory roles.

"I am looking forward to working more closely with Lord Woolf, President of the Court and the rest of the team at the QFC Civil and Commercial Court," Musgrove said. "The Court is already fully operational and we will continue to focus on providing an effective and cost-efficient service of the highest legal and professional standards."

Chris Campbell-Holt co-founded an International Practice Group across Norton Rose's 30 international law offices and co-founded the Centre for Ethics and Law at University College London, where he continues to serve as an advisor.
