Emir of Qatar in Tehran on official visit

Tehran: His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, arrived in Tehran, reported Fars news agency.

Shaikh Hamad is on a one-day visit and is scheduled to meet with President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad and senior Iranian officials to discuss bilateral relations, regional and international issues.

The Emir was received upon his arrival by Foreign Minister Manoucher Mottaki, reported the agency. He was on a previous visit to Iran last March.
