17 dead, 13 still missing in Qatar boat sinking
Eleven bodies have been recovered from a commercial vessel that sank off the Qatar coast bringing to 17 the number of dead while 13 other people are still missing, a newspaper said on Friday.

Officals said rescuers managed to save five of the 35 people on board, most of them from Nepal and India. One Bangladeshi was also among those feared dead.
The captain and chief engineer - both from Indonesia - were among those who survived the tragedy.
The boat sank on Tuesday near the entrance to the Doha canal.
Rescuers are continuing the search for the 13 missing, according to the Peninsula newspaper.
Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation to find out the cause of the accident.
