Two-day holiday for government sector in Oman
Oman's government sector will be closed on Saturday and Sunday on the occasion of the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Muscat: The Government sector be closed on Saturday and Sunday on the occasion of the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), according to a decision issued by Sayyid Khalid Bin Hilal Bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, Monday.
The government employees will have an extended weekend from February 2.
Private sector
Meanwhile, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Bakri, Manpower Minister, has announced Saturday will be a holiday for the private sector.
