Muscat: Royal Oman Police arrested four suspects on charges of possessing and trafficking narcotics. Capsules filled with heroin were recovered from them.

“The police were tipped off about the suspects by informers,” a police spokesman said.
He added that the anti-narcotics teams conducted thorough investigations and kept a watch on the suspects before making the arrests. “At the time of the raid, the police found 159 capsules in their possession and each capsule was filled with heroin,” he added.
There were Omanis as well as Asian expatriates among the accused. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
