Philippine President Gloria Arroyo has asked Kuwait's Prime Minister to pardon two Filipinos on trial for murder in Kuwait, according to a report on Saturday.

Arroyo and Kuwait's Prime Minister Shaikh Nasser Mohammad Al Ahmad Al Sabah met late on Friday at the presidential palace, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.
The Kuwaiti prime minister said judicial processes would have to be settled before clemency could be considered, the Inquirer reported.
The leaders also discussed the need for more labourers in Kuwait. There are currently 110,000 Filipinos working in Kuwait.
"We have no quota for Filipinos, even one million are welcome," the prime minister was quoted as saying.
