Manama: Kuwait's Court of Appeal on Sunday postponed the trial of seven people on charges of espionage for Iran to Monday.
According to Al Aan news portal, the trial was adjourned to allow the members of the spy ring to be present at the court session.
The network was busted in May last year and in March a court in Kuwait City sentenced two Iranians and a Kuwaiti national, all serving in Kuwait's army, to death on Tuesday for belonging to the ring.
The court condemned a Syrian and a Bidoon (stateless Arab) to life in prison. One Iranian man and the only woman defendant were acquitted.
Iran has vehemently denied having any role in the espionage network and the trial and condemnation caused a diplomatic rift between the two countries.
