Manama: Kuwait's Court of Appeal on Monday postponed the trial of seven people on charges of espionage for Iran to November 20.
According to Al Aan news portal, the trial was adjourned to allow the court to look into the statements made by the defence team.
The network was busted in May last year and in March a court in Kuwait City sentenced two Iranians and a Kuwaiti national, all serving in Kuwait's army, to death for belonging to the ring.
The court condemned a Syrian and a Bidoon (stateless Arab) to life in prison. One Iranian man and the only woman defendant were acquitted.
Iran has vehemently denied having any role in the espionage network and the trial and condemnation caused a diplomatic rift between the two countries.
