Dubai: An aircraft carrying more than 200 passengers has made an emergency landing at an airport in the Middle East due to some technical issues.
The Iraqi carrier landed in Kuwait International Airport late Sunday.
According to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Boeing 767 originated from Baghdad and was bound to New Delhi in India. It requested for an emergency landing after one of its engines encountered a technical failure.
The Iraqi plane managed to land safely. Directorate General of Civil Aviation Saleh Al-Faddaghi was quoted as saying that all the passengers were safe.
