Eight new swine flu cases detected in Kuwait

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has announced eight new cases of swine flu. The patients have been admitted to hospitals in the country and are in critical condition, reported the local Arabic daily Al Watan.

Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has announced eight new cases of swine flu. The patients have been admitted to hospitals in the country and are in critical condition, reported the local Arabic daily Al Watan.

According to the paper, 22 Asians being detained at a police station have also been transferred to a hospital on suspicion of swine flu infection.

However, the ministry said there was no need for any change or postponement with regard to the commencement of the schools new academic year.
