Manama: Cairo airport authorities have foiled an attempt by a Kuwaiti national to smuggle out three lion cubs.

Kuwaiti national caught trying to smuggle three lion cubs from Egypt
The man, who was not identified, on Wednesday evening presented a document reportedly from Egyptian wildlife officials stating that he was allowed to take three cubs out of the country, reports said.
However, the ruse was detected and the animals were seized. The passenger was, however, allowed to board the plane home.
