Khalifa welcomes 12 new ambassadors

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday received the credentials of 12 new ambassadors to the UAE.
The new ambassadors for Kuwait, Egypt, Sudan, Spain, Venezuela, Chile, Norway, Ireland, Australia, the Dominican Republic, Uganda and Russia were received in the presence of Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President's Representative, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region.
Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the new envoys and wished them success in discharging their duties and boosting bilateral relations between the UAE and their respective countries.
He reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to boosting ties with their countries and promised them total cooperation and support by all state organisations.
He also conveyed through the ambassadors his greetings to the leaders of their countries.
An official reception was held for the new ambassadors before they were received by the President.
The reception was also attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
