Manama: An international commission probing the incidents that hit Bahrain in February and March said that it has stopped interviewing witnesses or people with complaints.
"Friday, September 30, was the last day for interviews by the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI),” the commission said in a statement
However, even though no further interviews will be conducted, the commission will continue to receive complaints and testimonies if sent via email.
During the next four weeks, the BICI report will be developed in order to submit to King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa on October 30, the BICI said.
"The BICI would like to extend its deep thanks and appreciation to all those who cooperated with its team, sharing their testimonies, information, photographs and videos," it said.
The commission was set up in June by King Hamad.
