First epidemic diseases centre in Bahrain
The Bahraini Ministry of Health is planning to build a special centre for the treatment and prevention of epidemic diseases, according to the Arabic local daily Al Ayyam.
Manama: The Bahraini Ministry of Health is planning to build a special centre for the treatment and prevention of epidemic diseases, according to the Arabic local daily Al Ayyam.
The decision to build such a centre is taken in light of the spread of various epidemic diseases, most recent of all the swine flu.
To be constructed at an initial cost of 1.5 million Bahraini Dinars, the centre would be one of the first in the region, according to Bahraini health officials.
