Abu Dhabi: Schoolchildren across the emirate of Abu Dhabi can now access their class timetables, grades and bus schedules through a newly launched smartphone application.
The application was launched on Tuesday by the emirate’s education sector regulator, the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec), and is available to students at both public and private schools. It was introduced at the ongoing Gitex Technology Week in Dubai.
Parents can also use the app to view student-related information, while teachers can apply for leave, and view attendance records. There are about 50 different transactions and procedures that can be completed using the new portal.
