A lot of social media users find it easy to spread the word about #Movember. While they record their progress through the month, they use the hashtag to reach out to maximum users so as to get support for their cause. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are some of the platforms commonly used, with people sharing their photographs from the start of the month.
A tweep @AliJohnston8 posted: “My moustache is starting to blossom now #Movember.”
@tshalverson shared a picture of his Movember-themed socks and said: “It must be #Movember, or I forgot to do laundry last night.”
Some other hashtags that people were using on social media are #NoShaveNovember, #GrowYourMo and #MoSistas.

@MsBehavior used a black pen to draw a moustache and then shared a picture of herself: “Day 6 of #GrowYourMo please consider donating to a #MoSista #Movember.”
Some people seem to be waiting for the end of the month so they could finally shave.
