Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the Arab Health Conference and Exhibition on Tuesday.
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, were present.
Upon his arrival, Shaikh Mohammad was warmly received by the conference participants and visitors, who are expected to exceed 100,000 over the course of the four-day event.
Shaikh Mohammad toured the exhibition accompanying the conference, inspecting the most recent technologies on display by global companies. Shaikh Mohammad visited the General Electric pavilion, where he was briefed on a silent magnetic imaging/CT scanning device, which is being presented for the first time ever in the Middle East.
Shaikh Mohammad expressed his happiness that the UAE was hosting such an international gathering and exhibition, which is an important source for the UAE’s national economy, as well as a source of knowledge and expertise that can benefit Emirati citizens and people from the region specialising in this field.
He said that such an event helps experts share their knowledge while helping them learn new things through interactions with presenters, manufacturers and other experts.
