Abu Dhabi: The sons of the UAE martyrs will always be at the heart of the leadership’s concern and will receive great care and attention, said His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The heroic deeds and sacrifices made by the UAE martyrs represent a source of pride for the nation and their memory will be immortal, Shaikh Mohammad added.

Shaikh Mohammad made these remarks on Thursday during his visit to the Abnaa Al Fakhr Winter Camp, which is being organised by the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court at Telal Resort in Al Ain.

Al Fakhr Camp aims to receive the sons of the UAE martyrs who are between the ages of 12 and 18 years with a view of consolidating the authentic Emirati skills and values through various activities derived from the original UAE heritage.

“The sons of the martyrs are the sons of the UAE who are taught courage, sacrifice and giving values so as to take their homeland to new heights and ensure its security and stability,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

During his visit, Shaikh Mohammad met with sons and families of Emirati martyrs and expressed his happiness at seeing them preparing for the life ahead by learning lifelong skills derived from the UAE’s authenticity.

He praised their desire to acquire new knowledge and expertise, learn about their heritage and obtain the skills that link them to the nation and deepen their feelings of love and loyalty.

“All kinds of support will be provided to enable the sons of martyrs to develop their abilities to play a major role in the development process being witnessed by the UAE,” the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince affirmed.

Shaikh Mohammad inspected various facilities at the camp and was briefed about its sports and entertainment activities. He was also briefed about the skills taught to the martyrs’ sons and the heritage activities.
