Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday received employees of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court (ADCPC) who participated in the UAE Armed Forces’ national and humanitarian duties in Yemen.

Shaikh Mohammad hailed the efforts exerted by Emiratis in providing humanitarian support and carrying out various duties as part of the Armed Forces operating in Yemen. He expressed his pride in citizens who continue to prove their capabilities and excellence in all national duties and missions.

Shaikh Mohammad added that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has created a distinguished model of Emirati youths who are capable of shouldering responsibilities and facing different challenges. He said that this is thanks to a solid foundation that distinguishes the UAE which it relies on for its development and progress. He said this foundation is human resources: nationals who are qualified and trained, and who believe in national values and sacrifice to keep the UAE flag flying high.

For their part, the employees expressed their happiness and pride in participating in the UAE Armed Forces’ duties in different locations. They emphasised their readiness to heed the call of national duties, and said these duties provided them with valuable experience, allowing them to familiarise themselves with the reality of the situation up-close.

The delegation was accompanied by Shaikh Hamad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of ADCPC; Jabr Mohammad Ganem Al Suwaidi, director-general of ADCPC, and other officials.
