Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday received Meng Jianzhu, Special Envoy of the Chinese President, Vice Prime Minister, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee and secretary of the Central Political Legal Committee,
They discussed avenues of cooperation and various aspects of bilateral relations. They also reaffirmed the importance of exchange of experiences and expertise and joint cooperation in the realms of training and development.
Shaikh Mohammad and Jianzhu expressed their satisfaction with the level of trade ties binding their countries and hoped that UAE-China relations would develop and expand further in all domains. They emphasised the strong and distinguished strategic relations in view of the keenness of both leaderships to develop cooperation in a manner that help realise their common aspirations.
Jianzhu conveyed greetings from Chinese President Xi Jinping to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and thanked the UAE for exempting the Chinese from entry visas which would reflect positively on bilateral relations and push them toward greater heights.
Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, other shaikhs and senior officials were present.
