Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, on Tuesday issued a resolution on scholarships and school holidays for the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The resolution aims to unify, regulate and manage affairs pertaining to scholarships and school holidays in the emirate, follow up on the affairs of students with the aim of enhancing their education, as well as providing governmental bodies with specialisations it requires in various fields to achieve Abu Dhabi’s goals.
The resolution stipulates that the Abu Dhabi Education Council will be the authority that specialises in preparing strategic plans and general policy for regulating and managing scholarships, both local and abroad, and following up on all matters concerning them with the objective of enhancing educational levels in all specialisations.
