Cairo: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, held official talks on Wednesday with Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi and discussed fraternal relations as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Receiving Shaikh Mohammad at the Federal Palace, Al Sissi welcomed the UAE leader and his accompanying delegation, wishing both countries’ relations further progress and development based on historical and deep-rooted cooperation.

Al Sissi expressed his immense appreciation to the UAE for its consistent honourable stances towards Egypt.

Shaikh Mohammad reiterated his deepest condolences to the Egyptian president and the families of the EgyptAir plane crash victims. He praised to Allah Almighty to always protect Egypt and its people.

Shaikh Mohammad conveyed to Al Sissi the greetings of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his best wishes of further progress and prosperity to Egypt and its people.

The Egyptian president asked Shaikh Mohammad to pass on his greetings to Shaikh Khalifa and his best wishes of further development and prosperity to the UAE and its people.

Shaikh Mohamamd was accompanied by Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser; Ali Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Security Council; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority; and Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazroui, Undersecretary at the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince.
