Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday attended at his Majlis a lecture titled “The Making of Mankind in Light of the Holy Revelation”.

The lecture, provided by Dr Ahmad Abbadi, Secretary General of Morocco’s Mohammadia League of Muslim Scholars, is part of a series of lectures held during Ramadan at Shaikh Mohammad’s majlis.

Abbadi began his lecture by stating that the UAE is a global role model in achievements that it has accomplished in all fields. He pointed out that the UAE remains calm and stable during a time of unrest and disorder in other countries.

He pointed out that educators, while undertaking the process of making a man, have to take into consideration the individual’s movement from one level to another, and they also have to take into consideration that an individual requires a set of skills as he is trained in integration between all his senses.

Abbadi pointed out that the making of man has undergone a number of different phases. He said that the first of these phases was the copper age, the second was heavy industry, third was the digital age, and that we are currently undergoing a phase of nontechnology. Abbadi said that life in the universe requires integration between all people and the transfer of culture between them.

Abbadi said that it is important to teach the youth to be diligent in their work, and to guide science students into studying specialisations that are needed by the country, which will therefore boost and consolidate the presence of these specialisation between nations.

Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, and Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development, were present.
