Dubai: As part of its participation in the UAE Innovation Week 2016, the Ministry of Health and Prevention launched on Saturday the Happiness Indicator to follow up on customers’ responses to the programmes and initiative launched by the Ministry.
Commenting on the occasion, Awad Al Katbi, Assistant Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention’s Support Services Sector, said, “The launch of the indicator comes as part of a package of initiatives and programmes developed by the ministry in line with the national innovation strategy goals. It is in line with the ministry’s end goal of ensuring the provision of administrative services according to the quality, efficiency and transparency standards.
Besides organising a workshop on innovation and social responsibility, the ministry also launched the initiative, “We need you, be with us” which targets employees with special needs in the ministry with an aim to develop a conducive working environment that fits those employees and meets their aspirations.
