Sharjah: A man died after falling from the 20-floor of a building under construction in Al Majaz area in Sharjah on Wednesday evening.
Police here official told Gulf News that there was no apparent cause of the incident that immediately available.
However, Sharjah Police confirmed the incident happened around 5pm requiring emergency officials to respond to the scene.
Police did not elaborate.
“Police and ambulances rushed to the area after receiving reports about the incident ," the police said.
The man plunged to his death from the 20 floor the under-construction high-rise.
As soon as the police was notified about the accident, a team from the Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) was dispatched to the scene.
The man was transferred to Al Kuwaiti hospital at a round 6pm where he pronounced dead, before then the body moved to the forensic laboratory.
Police station has launched investigation over the incident to establish weather its suicide bid or not.
The case was lodged with Al Buhairah Police station.
