She wore the Lebanese flag as huge earrings and bracelets. She also sported a very special sexy T-shirt: A khaki top with military designs and a portrait of newly elected president Michel Sulaiman. This is how Haifa Wehbe chose to pay tribute to the head of state and to celebrate the new peace in Lebanon.

The beautiful singer performed in a Beirut concert organised to relaunch tourism and revitalise the economy after months of paralysis. Haifa's concert attracted thousands of
people who carried portraits of both the beautiful star and the new president.

A duet will be included on her new album which will be released soon. Haifa chose to sing with Lebanese-Canadian singer Karl Wolf, who said that “singing with Haifa
Wehbe was like realising a dream of mine. I was very happy when I put my voice to the song in a studio in Cairo. Haifa is one of the most important stars in the Arab world."
Wolf, who launched his own album in Dubai recently, will perform in Beirut in mid-July.

Happy days

The beautiful life of Dominique Hourani

She is young, beautiful, rich, famous and… pregnant. Since she married an Austrian millionaire of Iranian origin, Lebanese singer Dominique Hourani is leading an easy life.
She was seen in Monte Carlo with Prince Albert of Monaco at the most expensive hotel in the area, the famous Hotel de Paris. Dominique was singing in one of the hotel's
ballrooms during a reception organised by the Friends of Lebanon association. The event was a fundraiser for needy Lebanese children. During the ceremony, an auction
was organised and dresses signed by Lebanese designer Elie Saab were sold.

A week later, Dominique was on the red carpet at the Cannes film festival. Dominique, who is not an actress, was the special host of Chopard jewellers. Expecting a baby
girl in mid-summer, she wore a beige dress with a slip on her belly, showing her skin and pregnancy — so that Angelina Jolie will know that she is not the only pregnant star
who walked the red carpet on the French Riviera.
